Meet and Greet (Members Only) - October 13, 2009 6:00 pm

This get-together is held at the beginning of the hockey season (in Qwest Arena in one of the locker rooms). The event is designed to introduce the team to the Booster Club members in a relaxed atmosphere - it allows the Booster Club members to get to know the new team members and welcome them to Boise as well as say 'welcome back' to returning players. ISBC members go one-on-one with the players in interviews that are designed to help the ISBC members learn about the players and put the players at ease. Refreshments are provided by the Booster Club members and tours of the locker rooms and equipment room are conducted by the Steelheads players.

2nd Skate with Players (Members Only) - March 6, 2010
Chairs: - Barry Chandler & Norman Rogers

Twice during the hockey season, the Booster Club members are invited to join the team on the ice after a home game. Skates are available for those brave enough to take a spin around the rink and club members spend their time visiting with the players - taking photographs, chatting, and getting autographs.

Winterland Parade -
Chair: - We will not be participating in the Winterland Parade this year.

For the last two years, the Highland Golf Cart, a couple of Steelheads players, and Blue, the team Mascot have graciously been loaned to us for this event. The players and Blue are favorites with the younger parade watchers. We wrap up warmly, don a Steelheads jersey, and walk the parade route wishing the people of Boise a happy holiday season.

Toys for Tots Teddy Bear Toss - December 2, 2009

This year will be our 11th annual Teddy Bear Toss. In the past ten years, the Booster Club has been responsible for raising over $20,000 and 20,000 toys for the Marine Corps Toys for Tots campaign. During the year, we buy stuffed toys when we find them at exceptional prices. We then sell those toys to fans the night of the toss. They are tossed onto the ice at the first home goal and swept off by club members, arena staff, team members and U.S. Marines.

All proceeds from the sale of the toys as well as the toys themselves are donated to the Toys for Tots campaign and are distributed to area children during the holiday season.

Christmas Banquet (Members Only) - December 13, 2009 5:00 pm

Every year we sponsor a holiday banquet for the team and staff. Booster Club members bring potluck dishes and we have an evening filled with good food, friends, and a fun-filled gift and stocking exchange for the players. Many of them will spend the holidays away from friends and family (some for the first time) so we make this a special occasion for them.

Awards Banquet - March 28, 2010

At the end of the season, Steelheads fans are asked to vote for their favorite players in several categories. At this potluck banquet, these awards are among the awards presented to players.

Jersey Auction - March 27, 2010
Chair: Dennis & Debbie Cummings

After the last home game of the regular season, the ISBC auctions off one set of the players game-worn jerseys for the year. The money raised from this auction is used to finance the Lending Closet which helps out the players so much during the year.

Road Trips -
Chair:
